What would I do without a mind?
What would I do without a society to shape that mind?
To influence it?
To taint it?
To glorify it?
What would I do without the memories of such glory and such tache?
An orphan on a deserted island, with nothing from the outside world, save the produce of Nature which surrounds me.
I suppose I would be free....
I liked this: "What would I do without a mind? ... I suppose I would be free" Set off a whole chain within me which I will try and type down here. I figure the lack of freedom comes because of the mind. And the mind comes because I am. That is why "no mind" as a state is said to be very blissful, perhaps because I am not just free, but also there is no I ... chicken and egg being "am I there because the mind is?" or "because I am, the mind is" ... perhaps both at the same time. and round and round it goes ... :-)
