Sonnet - 3

To the One and only who matters... :-)

What Love has set on me when Life smiled sweet!
A mind so rich, a soul so complete, so starkEn Uyir Poovinn Ondrey Thenee
A difference. Should Love fall to such conceit?
What use be such a world in lost Love's dark?

Carefully tread your path, with love held close.
So rare a gift, 'tis called a God's sad whim
To let His breath seek another from those
Who hold in their void your love to the brim.

But the twain shant meet in your stained yards,
Of beliefs, hopes and misunderstanding.
How bloom a Rose amidst society's shards?
Why bloom a Rose on this Earth so scalding?

For you are to be but in my heart's beat
Where love for Love's sake leaves our souls replete.

Do the poor mortals that read your blog thank 'you' for such a beautiful poem, or do they thank God for blessing you with such Grace and Skill, that create so well, and ever so beautifully though so effortlessly?

I will give God the go by, and only
    Thank you.

    # Complicated stanza is the following one -

"Carefully tread your path, with love held close.
So rare a gift, 'tis called a God's sad whim
To let His breath seek another from those
Who hold in their void your love to the brim."

    # Lovely. Write on-

  2. Dear P,
Glad you liked it... :-) God has been kind but there are other places (people?) where He has been kinder still...
