Abiding to the gold standard makes life simpler for others. Glad you liked the notion of a seed.

Dear P,
Sigh! You are right and that is what made me close the post the way I did. I really am at my wits end trying to figure out what to do. Maybe in not doing anything lies the solution! Glad you liked the post.Erotemehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03677513867884448593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9766640.post-77635010254705866502008-09-21T07:07:00.000+05:302008-09-21T07:07:00.000+05:30As you too propound here, the need or lack for a G...As you too propound here, the need or lack for a Gold Standard of Morality doesn't make a human being adopt it or discard it- because it is not a mental set of theories or 4 rules that one decides to make of oneself, because then one realises that the mind doesn't assist in making a harmonious whole of the 4 factors, but on the contrary is bewildered at the contradictions that each point can be with the other.

As is said, morality is innate and intrinsic of humanity itself, and one just develops or doesn't develop the consciousness of it, and accordingly one IS or isn't moral.

Once I am conscious of the Absolutes of Truth, Love, Equality that are of the human Soul and not sourced from the human mind, it is irrelevant to my way of moral being, whether the whole world is conscious of these same truths or not - I cannot but help my purity/morality; I cannot but be under all circumstances, of difficulties or delight, an implacable Honesty, Consideration/Concern/Love,just, with a respect that accords every element of life and death its due. I don't calculate the effect of my morality or whether it is feasible for me to be amongst immoral people. I just am. Complete and Absolute.

#An extremely extremely beautiful post in which shines the brilliant radiance of your beautiful mind, that is both innocent and spiritual, with a deep goodness of heart too.

An honour indeed it is to have writers and thinkers like you in this blog world.

Keep writing! :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9766640.post-27021407774354071542008-09-20T17:30:00.000+05:302008-09-20T17:30:00.000+05:30The gold standard that you talk of , echo the same...The gold standard that you talk of , echo the same concepts highlighted in the Ten Commandments.(Moses/Jesus Christ ~ Concept of Dharma in Hinduism).

Abiding to the gold standard helps in spiritual growth.

The seed example was very beautiful.
:)Shhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16991504340370259469noreply@blogger.com
